Weddings become even more special when held in a magical setting like the SajeWinds Plantation.  Sharon & Alan Johnson have been married since 1984 and can help you plan your perfect day.  Whether you choose a garden wedding, a ceremony on the historic veranda, or by the lake, it is sure to be a memorable occassion for you and your guests.

Our Antebellum Mansion built in 1842, is available for any special event:
Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Family Reunions and Company Functions.

We can host an indoor event up to 150 guests comfortably for a standing reception.

For a formal sit down dinner inside the mansion we can accommodate up to 100 guests.

For outside events we can host 500 or more guests with ample parking on our 30 acre property. 
Additional restroom facilities may be required for larger events. 
Pavilion tents, in case of rain or needed shade are locally available along with other rental supplies.

For a unique event our Amish Style Barn is available for receptions and family hoe downs!

The Plantation fee for events that are scheduled Monday thru Thursday is $1,500.00 for up to 150 guests.

For Events up to 150 guests scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday during normal restaurant hours, the Plantation fee is $3,500.00. Fritters restaurant will close to the public during the event time. Rehearsals need to be scheduled when Fritters is not operating. For events larger, please call for pricing.

Fritters restaurant is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5-9 p.m. and Sundays 11:30-2:00 p.m.

A deposit of $300.00 is required to reserve your event date. It will be refunded within 7 days of your event close, upon inspection of property and management agrees no damage has occurred to the property. Any damages or extra cleanup that incur will be deducted. This deposit is separate from the facility rental fee.

Included in the Plantation fee is:

* Use of the mansion and grounds for the weddings or special event-up to 6 hours

(Includes time for preparation and clean up.)

* A changing room for the Bride is available before Event.

* A gift cart at the guest entrance.

* A table with linen and greenery for your guest book

* Complimentary guest parking

* Insect fogging day of event

* In our parlor we have a baby grand piano if you would like to bring your favorite pianist.

Please use ONLY Bubbles, Bird Seed or Rose Petals for Reception Farewell.

No Smoking is permitted inside or outside.

We have all inclusive packages available to make your special day stress free!

Sorry, outside caterers are not permitted due to sanitation & insurance requirements.  


Horse Drawn Carriage

We have a Horse drawn carriage available for transporting the bride to the ceremony area and for exiting the reception for $300.00 for up to two hours (on the property).  Transporting horse & carriage to another location available for additional fee.

In our parlor we have a baby grand piano if you would like to bring your favorite pianist.

Note: SajeWinds Plantation is a working Gypsy Vanner horse farm and pet friendly facility. 

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.  
A $50.00 cleanup fee will be deducted from the deposit if guests do not respect the “no smoking” policy.
